The Witch And The Halloween Gemstone

Perhaps you would like to become an amateur witch for Halloween. After all, Halloween is the time that witches come out the most and the stories surrounding them are often told.

Any decent witch will know how to pick a gemstone for use as a talisman. Gemstones have been used for centuries as talismans and have been relied on heavily by Halloween witches as well. Soldiers used to carry the bloodstone, as a talisman, since it was associated with Mars the god of war. They thought it would protect them from harm. Perhaps you would like to know how to pick a gemstone talisman for your own protection.

If you were a Halloween witch how would you proceed to pick a talisman for yourself. First, use a gemstone that appeals to you as that will feel like it has a connection to you. It might be your birthstone, or a special stone given to you as a gift or one that you spied in a corner shop. How you sense this stone to feel will be what you are looking for as a Halloween witch.

Try holding the talisman between your hands, close your eyes and feel the power it radiates. Some stones will feel happy, some sad, some silly and some angry! As a witch you will know that a talisman can be used for many purposes so you may need more than one depending on what your plans are for it.

A special way to find a Halloween witch gemstone is to use a formula derived from your birth date, based on information from Mr. Richard Brown. First create a sum of your month day and year. So if you were born March 6 of 1962, the sum would be 3+6+1962, which equals 1971.

Next break that number down into single digits and add them up. 1971 would convert to 1+9+7+1. That equals 18.

If at this point the number equals 11 or 22 you will want to stop there as they are very special numbers in any Halloween witch's ideals. If not, keep going. So now you will take the 18 and break it down to single digits to add together. So 18 becomes 1+8. That equals 9.

In this case, 9 is the number you will use to find your witch's gemstone talisman. Being a Halloween witch is exciting! Your friends who may gather for Halloween parties will be so impressed.

Each number you arrive at relates to a color, but only if the number is 9 or less, or 11 or 22. If you have any other number you can't use this method or you may need two stones equaling your number! Each color will be used for a different purpose or charm. The colors and what Halloween witch's use them for are below.

  • RED: passion, and enthusiasm
  • ORANGE: close relationships and personal satisfaction
  • YELLOW: fun-filled, joyful aspects of life
  • GREEN: hard work and accomplishment
  • BLUE: clarity and perception
  • INDIGO: caring for others
  • VIOLET: spiritual truth and the higher consciousness
  • PINK: stimulating and energizing
  • CLEAR: nurturing, loving, and ultimately successful
  • SILVER: peaceful and gentle
  • GOLD: aiming high, no limits
